Brian Moree QC is one of the most senior and experienced litigators in the Bahamas and widely acknowledged as a leading litigator in the jurisdiction. His practice includes commercial and civil litigation, insolvency, corporate and trust structuring, banking, commercial and business transactional work, cross border disputes and transactions and financial services. Brian is involved in most of the major cases in the Bahamas and in addition to regularly representing clients in the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal he appears as counsel in the Privy Council.


Senior Partner and Chair of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Area and the Financial Services Practice Area / appointed Queen's Counsel in 2009 / former Chairman of the Commercial Law Committee / served as a member of the Bench Bar Committee, a lecturer and examiner in Civil Procedure and as one of the Chairpersons of the Arbitration Tribunal / former Co - Chairman of the Bahamas Trade Commission / former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Business Licence Review Board for New Providence / acted as Chairman of the Public Service Commission / served as a member of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission / named in 2007 as the Executive of the Year by the Bahamas Financial Services Board in recognition of his contribution to the Financial Services Industry in the Bahamas. Brian has acted as a Stipendiary and Circuit Magistrate and a Judge of the Supreme Court of the Bahamas.
