Arnaud Michel is a partner within Gide's Intellectual Property, Telecommunications, Media & Technology practice group. He headed the firm's Brussels office from 1986 to 1993, and specialises in trademark and patent law, as well as in European law.
Arnaud is a member of several professional associations: the AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property); the AAPI (French Association for Intellectual Property practitioners); the APRAM (main French association for trademarks and models, where he was a former board member and Chairman in 2000 and 2002); the LES France (Licensing Executive Society France), where he was board member and Chairman from 2002 to 2004; and the LESI (Licensing Executive Society International), where he is Chairman of several working committees, e.g. "European", "Mediation", "Trademark", "Copyright", "Membership" and now "Nominations". Arnaud served as member of the LESI board, Vice-President (2011-2012), President Elect (2013) and President from May 2014 to April 2015). He is now Immediate Past-President of LESI.
