Distinguished practice in environmental consulting and litigation, representing both national and international clients from various segments of the economy in major projects, as well as relevant administrative and judicial disputes, including before Superior Courts, and alternative dispute resolutions.
Former associate and partner in renowned Brazilian law firms, including partnerships with American firms. Also worked as an environmental legal advisor for the Republic of Nauru for UNO. Worked as a legal assistant in the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States of America – USEPA. In 2013, he founded the firm Reis & Sampaio Advogados, which became Rennó, Penteado, Reis e Sampaio Advogados in 2017 after partnering with other professionals. Currently, he is a partner of the firm’s environmental area. He is also a post graduate professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas School of Law and at the Brazilian Bar Association in Rio de Janeiro (OAB/RJ).
