Anne regularly advises foreign and U.S. companies on contract, corporate, finance and transactional matters. She assists clients with contract disputes (private and government), and with issues concerning cabotage laws, charters, ad valorem taxes, equipment acquisition, vessel construction (tanker, ferry, MODU, containership, and special purpose vessels) and citizenship. Anne also represents clients before several federal agencies regulating the maritime industry. Anne has represented foreign and domestic companies engaged in shipping (liner, break bulk, bulk, RoRo, and tanker), offshore drilling, ferry services, fishing, terminal operations, dredging, and marine construction. Anne has obtained favorable rulings from the Maritime Administration, U.S. Coast Guard, and Customs and Border Protection and has been actively involved in litigation in cases involving new builds, rebuilds, citizenship, and other cabotage issues.
