Andrzej Mikosz is a Partner in the Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets team at Taylor Wessing in Warsaw, Poland. He has a profound specialization and many years of experience especially in public M&A, capital markets and related regulatory. Andrzej advised on the first successful cross-border public M&A transaction that involved a Polish issuer as the acquiring party. The transaction was structured as an exchange offer and resulted in a listing of shares of this Polish issuer on the stock exchange of the target’s jurisdiction.
Prior to joining Taylor Wessing CEE in 2019, Andrzej was a Partner at K&L Gates as well as Hogan&Hartson for many years. From 2005, he was the Minister of the Treasury and member of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland for two years. Andrzej gained extensive experience as a Senior Associate at Lovells as well as at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Rymarz, after he had been a Counsel to the Minister of Agriculture and member of the Polish Securities and Exchange Commission for two years.
