Andrew is a partner consultant in the Russian capital markets practice. He has acted on a significant number of Russian debt capital markets transactions and has extensive experience from his time spent with Linklaters in London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Andrew advised lead managers on, and devising new structures for, a series of senior and subordinated standalone bond issues and EMTN and ECP programme establishments/updates and subsequent drawdowns, including by the Russian Federation, GTLK, RusHydro, NLMK, Russian Railways, Sibur, DME Group, PhosAgro, Alrosa, Evraz, EuroChem, Trans-Oil Group (Moldova), National Bank of Uzbekistan, Ipoteka Bank, Uzpromstroybank, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Eurotorg (Belarus), as well as on numerous liability management exercises.
Member of the Law Society of England & Wales and a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales.
Andrew joined Linklaters in 1995 and became a partner in 2006, and, aside from his time in Moscow, he spent two years on secondment to the firm’s Hong Kong office from 1999 to 2001. Before joining Linklaters, Andrew worked as legal counsel for Estudio Carvallo, Santiago, Chile.
Andrew studied law at the University of Bristol.
