Career

Amanda Bailey works in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group and focuses her practice on regional business related matters.

Amanda graduated from Appalachian State University in 1998 and earned her law degree from the University of South Carolina, School of Law in 2003.

Prior to joining Burr Forman McNair as an Associate in May 2005, Amanda served two years as a judicial law clerk with the South Carolina Court of Appeals.

Amanda has served as lead and co-counsel in a broad range of cases before special referees, masters in equity, the circuit courts, and federal courts and has successfully represented clients and argued on appeals before the SC Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.

In addition to her regional practice along the Grand Strand, Amanda is licensed in North Carolina and can assist her clients along the coast in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

Experience

Amanda primarily represents area banking institutions, developers, homeowners' associations, realtors, and businesses in litigation disputes and contract matters in circuit court, federal court and on all appellate courts.
