Amália has been working in the Environmental Law sector since 2006, performing activities of consulting, judicial and administrative litigation and due diligence, relating to a vast diversity of topics, such as environmental liability/risk assessment, licensing, protected areas, contaminated land, waste management, energy generation, emissions control and trading, exploitation of minerals, water use and cultural heritage.

She is graduated in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-SP), 2010; graduated in Geography from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), 2014; LLM in Environmental Law, with distinction, from Queen Mary University of London, 2017. She is researcher of the Environmental Law Research Group at Universidade de São Paulo.
