Alexandra is a Senior Associate in the Charity & Social Enterprise Team and her wider practice covers independent schools, museum, animal, and military charities. Recent work includes advising: a large Independent School on separating from the Diocese; a high-profile sporting body on options to re-structure their charitable foundation; a Royal Charter Body on applying to the Privy Council to change their governing documents; and structuring and supporting charities through planned closures. She has particular expertise in governance and assisting faith-based charities adapt their religious mission to the charitable landscape.
Alexandra joined Stone King in 2004 from Slaughter & May with a background in corporate finance, prior to which she studied and worked in the archaeological/museum sectors where she gained personal experience of the issues facing the heritage sector.
Alexandra is a member of the Charity Law Association, and the Conference for Solicitors for Catholic Charities.
Alexandra has previously been a Trustee of AGE UK in Bath and the Roman Baths Foundation.
