Expert in business litigation, Adriana Astuto entered the Firm’s Litigation team in 2013, when initiated the arbitration practice. She has been practicing litigation for more than 24 years and is entirely focused on complex claims, with expertise in civil liability, contractual matters as well as corporate and constructions and EPC disputes.
Clients recognizes Ms. Astuto as a skilled litigator due to her technical knowledge and her ability to find innovative solutions. She was expressly praised for her “competence, knowledge and dedication”, by offering “diverse knowledge of national and international laws” and for her “excellent performance in conducting claims”. Ms. Astuto is enrolled at the Brazilian Bar association, in the Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo Sections. In the past, as an effective Member of the Board of Directors of the Rio Section of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ) from 2007 to 2015, Ms. Astuto headed the Arbitration and the Real Estate Commissions, as well as the Commission of Brazilian and Foreign Law Firms. She is also a Member of the following associations: Arbitration Commission of ICC Brasil – Brazilian Committee; ALARB; CBAR and IBDiC.
