Environmental Law:
The firm acts in environment-related litigation and legal advisory matters, assisting e.g. in environmental legal risk assessment, coordination of environmental licensing proceedings, due diligence, preparation and negotiation of contractual clauses (e.g. M&A, financing, provision of services), conduction of administrative/judicial proceedings in civil, administrative and criminal areas, negotiation of conduct adjustment and compromise agreements with Public Authorities (TACs/TCs), environmental mediation/arbitration and interaction with stakeholders (e.g. Public Prosecution Offices, environmental agencies, NGOs).

Regulatory Law, Antitrust & Infrastructure:
The firm offers legal advice to companies in both judicial and administrative levels regarding regulation of products and infrastructure, including public bidding proceedings and execution of administrative contracts in general, concessions and public-private partnerships, structuring and implementation of project finance transactions and in any matters related to its clients’ activities before direct and indirect Public Administration bodies. The firm has an extensive practice rendering advisory services and assistance on administrative/judicial proceedings for regulated sectors, such as oil and gas, energy, transportation, ports, airports, food and beverage, tobacco, health products, medicines.
The firm also provides legal advice for the submission of transactions before the Brazilian Competition Defense System, as well as in antitrust infringement investigation, disloyal competition matters and illegal market practices.

Real Estate & Urbanistic Law:
The firm offers legal advice on the negotiation and execution of purchase and sale agreements, engineering and procurement contracts (EPC), among others, due diligences, real estate development and enterprises, land subdivisions, leases, sale and leaseback, surface rights and built to suit. It is also specialised in urbanistic law, assisting in the licensing of works before the Public Administration and in related administrative/judicial proceedings.

Litigation & Arbitration:
The litigation department handles complex matters before judicial and administrative courts as well as arbitration tribunals and regulatory agencies throughout Brazil. The partners and associates of the litigation department have a wide-ranging experience and specific expertise in litigation in connection with construction, real state, corporate, environmental and regulatory projects, consumer, contracts and insurance, as well as judicial recovery and bankruptcy. The firm's expertise in these segments derives from its close relationship with clients and knowledge of their businesses.

Tax Law:
The firm provides tax consulting services and assistance on tax litigation matters. It acts in the defense of its clients before judicial/administrative courts against tax assessments, preventing undue taxation, enabling the restitution/compensation of undue tax payments and obtaining tax clearance certificates.

Technology & Intellectual Property:
The firm advises on technology and intellectual property matters, mainly in copyright and cultural projects and advises companies and organised civil societies in the preparation of privacy policies, terms of use of platforms and information technology and regulation sector contracts.

Corporate Law & M&A:

Wealth & Succession Planning:

The partners are licensed before the Portuguese Bar advise individuals, their families and family offices in immigration and tax matters, with an emphasis on tax benefits, Non-Regular Tax Regime for Non-Regular Residents, real estate legal advice, visas and residence permits, including Golden Visa, legal advice to non-resident clients and filing of lawsuits recognising foreign judgments in Portugal.
