Founded in 1964, the firm began its activities focused on corporate and commercial matters and with a strong focus on international clients. The firm assists its clients on drafting and negotiating both national and international contracts.
The firm advises its clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, due diligences, takeovers and all corporate acts such as shareholder meetings and agreements. Moreover, the firm provides assistance to companies wishing to set up branches, subsidiaries or offices abroad.
The litigation department deals with a wide range of judicial and arbitration claims, including intellectual property, tax, bankruptcies or compositions with creditors, torts and corporate disputes. In those cases, where the clients need a representative in foreign courts the firm works together with qualified local firms in foreign countries.
The firm has two tax departments: litigation and consulting. The services comprehend federal, state and city/county taxes applicable to individuals and corporations. Furthermore, the office provides services in international taxation planning through agreements to avoid multiple taxation, eligibility to tax relief/tax breaks. International and transnational issues are dealt with in cooperation with foreign law firms.
The firm provides services in both consulting and litigation, as well as negotiations with labor unions, Federal Public Labor Attorney’s Office, Regional Labor Office, Class Associations and Collective bargaining agreement and due diligences.
The real estate department advises clients on registration processes, real estate investment trusts, securitization of real estate receivables and due diligences.
