Guantao Law Firm, founded in 1994, is one of the pioneer law firms in China. Headquartered in Beijing, Guantao now has 20 offices in main cities at home and abroad. In Hong Kong, Guantao merged with Peter C. Wong, Chow & Chow and was localised as a Hong Kong law firm under the name of Guantao & Chow. In Sydney, Guantao combined with CS Lawyers and was localised as an Australian law firm. After more than two decades of hard work and dedication, Guantao is now recognised as one of the leading law firms in China.

Guantao has established strategic alliance with the UK-based international law firm Ashurst LLP. In February 2018, Guantao and Ashurst established a Joint Operation Office (JOO) in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
