Merger Control & Antitrust/Competition:

Competition law has become a cornerstone in the strategy of companies. The firm has two partners dedicated to merger control and antitrust/competition issues, who are involved in major or legally challenging cases on a regular basis, acting before both the French Competition Authority and the European Union. The firm’s partners have a strong reputation in French and European merger control, for parties to the operation or on the contrary for third parties wishing to oppose a merger. The team also provides counsel to clients in antitrust/competition litigation cases before French and European competition authorities. It also defends the interests of its clients in appeal proceedings before the Court of appeal of Paris and the European courts. The practice also advises in other behavioral litigation cases such as claims for damages further to anti-competitive practices, restrictive and unfair competition practices.

Restructuring/Insolvency:

The team acts at all stages of companys’ difficulties: in pre-insolvency proceedings (mandat ad hoc, conciliation) where the aim is to reach an agreement with stakeholders, in judicial proceedings (sauvegarde, administration or liquidation proceedings), and related litigation including liability cases.
