Callington Chambers provides bespoke employment law services with a focus on complex and high value matters, particularly involving senior employees, directors and businesses in the financial services sector. As a wholly independent business, it can assist where other firms may be conflicted, acting as a trusted adviser to individuals and organisations, including high-ranking employees/former employees of international corporations. Clients have direct access to industry leader Advocate Vicky Milner, who deals with cutting-edge employment law issues and has acted as an expert witness on Jersey law in London’s High Court of Justice (Commercial Court). The firm also deals with data protection and mental health matters (including workplace stress and psychiatric injury claims and questions around the mental capacity of directors) and has an interest in technology law. Advice can be provided from the negotiation of new contract terms (including restrictive covenants) to guidance on investigations, resignation, dismissal and discrimination, as well as representation in Tribunal claims and Royal Court appeals. Clients particularly value the depth of experience and practical advice offered by the firm.
