ATC has acted as Lead Counsel on numerous pioneer transactions in Nigeria; Bonds, Equities and Debt securities. Amidst several milestone transactions, ATC was mandated by the Federal Ministry of Finance, as Consultants for the formulation of appropriate legislation and regulatory guidelines for a new Capital Market framework for Nigeria, and the report eventually metamorphosed into the Investment and Securities Act of 1999 (‘ISA’), guiding all securities and capital market transactions in Nigeria. ATC also undertook the legal mandate for registration and incorporation of a new national Stock Exchange, viz. Abuja Commodities Exchange. Recent transactions include: Series 1, 2 & 3 of Federal Government Guaranteed Notes under the FMBN SPV Issuer NGN 100 Billion Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities Programme (the first RMBS securitisation in West Africa); Solicitors to the Tranche 1, 2 & 3 Private Placement of Shares in The Infrastructure Bank Plc.

Dispute Resolution:
The dispute resolution team is headed by Akin Osinbajo SAN, a former Attorney-General of Ogun State.
