Pérez-Llorca’s Restructuring and Insolvency team has multidisciplinary experience in different practice areas such as finance, corporate law, employment law and litigation.

They advise national and international companies operating in the main sectors of the economy, both on the creditor side in defence of their interests, and on the debtor side, with the primary objective of overcoming economic difficulties. Their clients include debtors, national and international financial institutions, investment funds, private equity funds and commercial creditors.





Juan Oñate

Juan has developed his professional career in various national and international firms where he has participated in the main bankruptcy and market restructuring processes. He has extensive experience in the negotiation and homologation of restructuring agreements, in the purchase and recovery of NPL portfolios, in the defense of reintegration and responsibility actions of administrators, and in M&A operations in pre-contest situations and competition.

He has advised clients of different natures such as listed entities, large national groups, foreign investors, funds and banking entities.


Fernando Quicios

As an expert in Commercial and Financial Law, he advises national and foreign clients in all types of commercial operations, especially in mergers and acquisitions and financing operations. He is part of the Insolvency and Renegotiation Group of Pérez-Llorca, and has recently been part of important operations in this field.

Fernando has also provided advice on all types of financing, both at the local and transnational levels, usually in the context of project acquisition, refinancing or financing operations. All this experience has helped him to advise clients in complex transactions related to these areas. This knowledge is particularly useful in transactions within the framework of insolvency and renegotiation processes.
