Moelis & Company
Manisha Girotra is Chief Executive Officer of Moelis & Company in India. She was previously Chairperson and Country Head for UBS in India, with a career spanning 28 years with UBS in Hong Kong, Mumbai, Delhi and London and with Moelis in India. She was the youngest CEO of a global investment bank in India at the age of 32.
At UBS, Manisha oversaw the multiple businesses of the firm in India, including investment banking, equities trading, a propriety equity/equity linked investment book of US$ 1bn, wealth management and a US$ 1bn onshore lending book.
Manisha has led successful executions of several landmark transactions including the US$ 5bn merger of Grasim and Ultratech's cement business, Tech Mahindra’s US$650mn acquisition of Satyam Computers, Zain’s US$ 10.7bn sale to Bharti Airtel, Vodafone's US$ 13bn acquisition of HTIL's interest in Hutch Essar, Warburg Pincus US$ 500mn divestiture of stake in Bharti Airtel, Birla Group's US$ 6b acquisition of Novelis, Essar Steel's US$ 1.6bn acquisition of Algoma Steel amongst others.
Manisha set up Moelis and Company, a leading global Investment Bank, in India in 2012. Moelis specializes in Mergers & Acquisition, Debt and Equity Fund Raising. Some of the transactions led by her are the execution of £3.5bn investment by Vedanta Group in Anglo American, Intas Euro 800m acquisition of Teva, US$ 1.9bn sale of Strides injectables division (Agila) to Mylan Inc, US$ 800mn sale of Bharti’s African towers to Eaton and Capital International, US$ 2.5bn acquisition of Aleris by Novelis‐Hindalco among others.

Rupinder specialises in General Corporate Commercial, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity as well as Anti-Corruption practice areas. She has worked on some of the largest joint venture transactions; strategic as well as cross-border investments and alliances; restructurings of Indian and international conglomerates amongst others.
Rupinder regularly advises clients on foreign investments and related regulatory issues for India entry as well as matters related to corporate, employment, information technology and foreign exchange control laws in connection with both inbound and outbound investments.
Being recognised as a solution-oriented lawyer with a wealth of experience who can advice beyond legal and contractual matters for the successful outcome of a transaction, she has advised on several diverse corporate transactions, including share acquisition and business transfers across various sectors such as real estate, healthcare, e-commerce, consumer durables, fintech, technology, infrastructure & energy, services and manufacturing.
Rupinder also assists with compliance and internal investigations in connection with the Prevention of Corruption Act; the Money Laundering Act; the FCPA; the UK Bribery Act; and other local and international anti-corruption laws. She has also been involved in general employment law advisory and workplace policies, code of conduct and related matters.

Ms. Shivpriya Nanda, has over 30 years of extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, strategic joint ventures and corporate advisory. She has represented several marquee clients over the years and has been consistently sought out as a valued advisor by her clients for her incisive and business oriented advice.
With the initial years spent as a litigator with one of the premier law chambers, Ms. Nanda brings to the table the added insight to transactions where she has advised several Fortune
500 companies in complicated strategic alliances, restructurings, shareholder issues, bribery and anti- corruption investigations, technology licensing and transfers, senior management engagement and exits.
Ms. Nanda has spearheaded sectors with specific regulatory challenges such as defence, retail, education, mining, aviation, real estate, food and food processing and has been instrumental in steering several large foreign investments into India in these sectors. She has represented clients such as Wal-Mart, Michelin, EMAAR, KFC and Pizza Hut, Fidelity, Frankfurt Airport, Posco, Pernod Ricard, Hindustan Times amongst others.
Currently she serves as the Co-Chair of the Corporate Practice at JSA and was also the Joint Managing Partner of the firm from January 2016 until December 2018.
Having worked with one of the premier litigation firms of Delhi prior to her current practice, she has substantial experience in Litigation & Arbitration, including International Arbitration.

Sree is Executive Director & Chief Counsel, Mondelez India (formerly Cadbury India Limited, part of the US$ 26 Billion Mondelez International Inc) and AMEA Legal Lead. Sree is also an Independent Director on the Board of Greaves Cotton Limited and several of its Committees.
As part of the Board of Directors and the Country Leadership Team of Mondelez India, as well as the AMEA (Asia Pacific Middle East & Africa), Legal Lead, Sree supports the development and execution of effective corporate strategy and helps the business navigate the complex legal and regulatory environment across India and AMEA. She helps identify short and long term opportunities and risks, as well as partners in developing and delivering strategies and tactical plans to address these issues in ways which preserve and increase business value. Sree has represented the Company externally and engaged with Government and other stakeholders to influence policy affecting the business.
Sree has broad business and legal experience across Foods, Pharmaceutical and FMCG industries, with extensive cross functional expertise in Business Strategy & Advisory, Corporate Law, M&A, Divestment & Acquisition of business, Closure of establishments, compliance under FCPA & UK Anti Bribery Act, Indirect Tax, Licensing, Real Estate monetization, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Share Buy-back, Minority shareholders buy out and Intellectual Property.
Prior to Mondelez, Sree was with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Limited, part of the GlaxoSmithKline plc group of companies as Vice President, Legal & Corporate Affairs where her responsibilities included Business Advisory, Litigation, Pharmaceutical regulations, Policy and issues on patents, Drug Pricing regulations, Indirect Tax issues, Company Secretariat and acquisition or divestment of business and property.
Sree holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Mumbai.
