Caldarone is a Partner at Nctm Studio Legale. He deals mainly with commercial and corporate law, with particular focus on business contracts and M&A transactions such as advisory and assistance services in the fields of corporate governance and compliance. He assists domestic and international clients mainly engaged in the infrastructure, energy and manufacturing industries. Raffaele is the author of legal papers and participates in panels on commercial and corporate matters. He is a member of the Senior Advisors Board of Transparency International Italy.
Senior Legal Counsel
Andrea Brancatelli, is currently based in Rome and responsible for all legal matters of MoneyGram within Southern Europe, in addition Andrea has a dedicated responsibility for Digital Products. MoneyGram is a global USA corporation active in the money transfer sector and Andrea Brancatelli takes care of the legal department for Southern Europe, including liaising with the various country Authorities, while for the Digital Product remit he supports the launch of innovative products for the transfer of money.
Previously Andrea Brancatelli worked in General Electric, in Milan, where he acted as Senior Legal Counsel for the “Capital” division of GE. His first in-house experience was in 2009, when he entered LSE-Borsa Italiana S.p.A. to follow the integration with London Stock Exchange Group.
Maria Francesca Portincasa
Maria Francesca Portincasa is in-house counsel of Automobili Lamborghini s.p.a., and has a PhD in European Law – Antitrust. Joining Lamborghini in 2005, Francesca handles competition law, IP, commercial contracts (license; dealer; sponsorship; agent; merchandising; general conditions of purchasing and sales), and drafting legal opinions. She supervises Lamborghini's outside law firms worldwide – with special reference to Europe, US, China, and UAE – and manages the annual budgets for legal expenses. Francesca deals with numerous legal matters that arise, including but not limited to the management of IP rights and brand protection; international M&A; privacy, information and technologies law; and engineering and motorsport field contracts. She is a member of the internal committee for product safety and responsible for the antitrust compliance program. Francesca is the author of several articles regarding competition law, unfair competition and vehicles distribution.
Paolo M. Quaini is General Counsel for Alitalia SAI S.p.A. in Amministrazione Straordinaria, based in Rome, Italy.
Prior to joining Alitalia, Mr. Quaini was General Counsel for OTB S.p.A. (holding company of an Italian fashion group operating under the brands of Diesel, Marni, Maison Margiela and Viktor&Rolf, and – as licensee – of DSquared, Just Cavalli and Vivienne Westwood), General Counsel for Cementir Holding S.p.A. (an Italian group listed on the Italian Stock Exchange which manufactures and distributes worldwide white and grey cement, aggregates and concrete products), Senior Legal Counsel for Parmalat S.p.A. (a food and beverage multinational group listed on the Italian Stock Exchange), and Legal Director for the Plant Making Division of Techint S.p.A. (a multinational group engaged in the business of steelmaking, manufacture of complex infrastructures, industrial plants design and construction, oil and gas exploration and production).
Marco Reggiani has been General Counsel of Snam Group since 2010. The position currently held includes the functions of chief legal officer, governance officer, compliance officer and risk officer.
Marco is also a member of the Snam’s leadership team (senior management committee) and a Board member of Italian and Foreign companies. He also acted as Chairman of Italgas, leading company in the Italian gas distribution sector, from 2012 to 2016.
Before joining Snam, Marco has covered leading roles in legal departments (including inter alia ethic and compliance) in the oil and gas industry. He is qualified with the Milan Bar, and studied in Parma and Trento. Marco is currently the AISCA’s president, Italian Association of the Secretaries of the Board of Directors.
Country Counsel Italy
Valérie serves as Country Counsel in Italy since 2015. She is the head of the legal department in the country, providing support to the business and to other Global Functions in a wide array of legal topics.
Valérie also serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors of HP Italy S.r.l., and is involved in several projects at EMEA level.
Before joining HP in March 2013, Valérie has been in private practice as a member of the Milan Bar for more than ten years. She worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in both Brussels and Milan offices, with focus on national and EU competition law matters; and at the boutique law firm Nascimbene & Partners, as an antitrust counsel. During these years she also gained experience in corporate and commercial law, as well as litigation.
Piaggio & C.
He is General Counsel, Compliance Officer and DPO of the Piaggio Group. His professional career began in Olivetti, with roles of increasing responsibility within the Legal and Corporate Affairs Department. He was part of the main operations that led to the transformation of the Olivetti Group and the merger with Telecom Italia, subsequently taking on the management of Olivetti's legal and corporate affairs. After a brief period in the fashion industry, he joined the Piaggio Group in 2009.
