Mr Bom is coordinating partner of Competition and EU Law Practice of Cuatrecasas in Portugal (since 2019). He was previously the General Director of Investigation (2014-2019) and Director of the Legal Department (2013-2019) at the Portuguese Competition Authority, Senior Associate in the EU and Competition Law Department of PLMJ Law Firm (2009-2013), Advisor to the Board at the Portuguese Competition Authority (2007-2008), Director of the Competition Department at the Portuguese Health Regulation Authority (from 2006 to 2007), and Legal Officer at the Portuguese Competition Authority (2003-2006). He is a Lawyer since 1999 and has Postgraduate diplomas in Competition and Industrial Property Law (2003). Graduated in Law (1999). Guest speaker in national and international conferences.

Ana Patrícia Carvalho

Ana Patrícia Carvalho is the Head of Legal & Compliance Officer at Group Nestlé Portugal. Throughout her career, she has worked actively in the area of Competition Law, IP, Corporate and Consumer Law. Before joining Nestlé in 2003, Ana Patricia Carvalho worked at the Intellectual Property and European Law and Competition Law Practice Area of PLMJ for 5 years, where she began her career as a trainee. From 1999 to 2007, Ana Patrícia Carvalho was a Lecturer at University Moderna where she taught Commercial Law and Property Law. Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2010, member of the board of the Portuguese Competition Commission, International Chamber of Commerce and member of the board [email protected] Iberia. She has a Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (1998), a Postgraduate in Intellectual Property from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2000), and a Postgraduate in Commercial Law from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lisbon (2007). She also concluded an Organizational Leadership course from Catholic Lisbon School of Business and Economics (2011), an Economics and Leadership Development course from IESE Business School Barcelona (2013) and an Advanced Organizational Leadership course from the London Business School (2019).

José Maria leads the Legal & Compliance team of Lidl Portugal. José and his team are responsible for all legal services, insurance, compliance and data protection policies, regarding every business aspect. Before joining Lidl in 2015, José Maria practiced law for 5 years at PLMJ’s German Desk. Having attained his Law Degree at the Oporto Catholic University (2009), he went on to conclude a Master in Law & Management at the Lisbon Catholic University (2011). Postgraduate studies include Corporate Finance at Lisbon University’s Law School (2015), and General Data Protection Regulation at the Catholic Lisbon School of Business and Economics (2018) 

Rui de Oliveira Neves

Rui de Oliveira Neves, lawyer and master in laws, has been counsel to national and international companies and the Portuguese government, with particular emphasis to the areas of energy and capital markets, being acknowledged by the market as leading lawyer in such areas of practice. General Counsel of Galp Energia group since 2013, responsible for the Legal and Governance department, he practiced law for 15 years at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associates, where he attained a partner position. He is as well the executive director of ISPG – Institute of Petroleum and Gas, a private association for advanced training and research. In the academic side, he is a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in the area of energy law and at the Faculty of Law of the Universidade de Lisboa in the areas of corporate and securities law. He is an arbitrator with the Commercial Arbitration Center of the Commercial Arbitration Institute of the Oporto Commercial Association. He is member of the Governance Lab, group of more than 40 authors who are dedicated to the research and discussion on topics related to private and public corporate governance, with a view to actively contribute to the progress of practices, recommendations and legal rules. Author of various specialized publications in the areas of corporate law, governance and capital markets.

Luís Graça Rodrigues

Luís is the Head of Legal Department in Indra/Minsait for Portugal and Portuguese-speaking African countries. In 2011 Luís created Indra’s legal department in Portugal and established a strong in-house legal team that has supported the Company’s international expansion in the Portuguese-speaking African countries, providing legal advice in several operations and Company branches in those countries and supervising the work of local outside counsels. In 2017, with the acquisition of Tecnocom, Luís also took charge of all of Tecnocom Portugal’s legal matters. In between, in 2015 Luís was also an Invited Lecturer at the Catholic University in Mozambique and in 2017 he published a book on Angolan Public Procurement Law.
