Andrey Goltsblat is the Country Managing Partner for Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner in Russia; admitted, 1987, Russia. He concentrates primarily on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, joint ventures and different types of investment projects, as well as counselling directors and senior management of domestic and overseas companies on investments and deal structuring in Russia and the CIS.

He represents clients in major complex litigation and has acted in a number of high profile cases, developing the case strategy and leading the team.

His previous roles include Chief of Staff for the Constitutional Commission of the Russian Parliament.

Since joining Avito in 2013, Tatiana oversees commercial and information technology matters, including litigation, in the day-to-day operations of Avito. Tatiana’s previous experience consisted of 9+ years supporting TMT businesses, including telecommunication, software and gaming companies.

Yury Babichev

Yury Babichev focuses on international arbitrations and cross-border litigations. He is experienced in commercial and investment arbitrations, fraud and conspiracy claims, derivative litigations, shareholder disputes, contentious M&A transactions and internal investigations. Yury advised clients on litigations in various jurisdictions, including England, BVI, Bermuda, Cyprus, France and the Netherlands, and arbitral proceedings seated in major arbitration centres such as London, Paris, Stockholm and The Hague. His clients included Russian and foreign companies, individuals and the Russian Federation.

Evgeny Timofeev, Partner, joined Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (Russia) in July 2011 to lead the firm’s growing Russian/CIS Tax Practice. Under Evgeny’s supervision the Tax Practice of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (Russia) has become one of the most successful on the Russian market.

Evgeny provides a broad range of contentious and non-contentious tax advice to global corporates, local companies and financial institutions as well as represents them in tax disputes.

He is a member of the Board of the Russian Tax Law Association and of the Expert Council on Tax Legislation of the State Duma Budget Committee. He is also a member of the International Fiscal Association and serves on the Tax Committees of the Association of European Business in Russia, the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia and the Deutsch-Russische Auslandshandelskammer.

Anton Toroptsev started his tax career with PwC, in the Tax Merger & Acquisitions department, and dealt with group structuring and transactions for tax purposes. Anton gained wide industry experience while managing tax departments and shared service centers in British American Tobacco, Nissan, Alibaba Group, Teva Pharmaceuticals.

Anton deals with all tax aspects of business including communication with tax authorities, pre-court procedures, group restructurings and group tax efficiency. Anton is a member of the Expert Council for development of taxation in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

Elena Trusova

Elena Trusova has accumulated vast experience in handling commercial disputes in arbitration courts, courts of general jurisdiction and international commercial arbitrations (ICAC, SCC, LCIA). She has contributed to a successful outcome of a number of litigations and major advisory projects pertaining to protection of copyright, trademarks and corporate names. Elena advises clients on conclusion and enforcement of licence agreements, registrability of trademarks and ensuring copyright protection. She has represented and advised major manufacturers of cosmetics, construction materials and medical products, motor and food companies and retail chains.
