Chunyang Shao

Mr. Shao practiced law for over 30 years. Mr. Shao joined JunHe in April 2002 as a partner. Mr. Shao has since acted as PRC counsel for domestic or offshore listings of PRC companies. In recent years, Mr. Shao has also represented PRC companies or PE funds in their offshore investments. In recognition of his extensive experience in the capital markets, Mr. Shao was selected by Chambers Global as one of “The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business” (2007-2018). Asian Legal Business awards also named Mr. Shao among the “2014 ALB Client Choice Top 20 Lawyers in China.”


Jiayu (Paul) Lin

Mr. Paul Lin is a partner of JunHe in our Shenzhen office.

Mr. Lin joined JunHe in 2004. Since joining JunHe, Mr. Lin has advised many domestic and international clients from different industries in mergers and acquisitions, foreign inbound investments, Chinese company outbound investments, capital market transactions and general corporate matters, including high-profile transactions such as domestic listed companies and banks introducing foreign strategic investors, private equity funds acquiring controlling stake in listed companies and domestic listed companies making outbound investments. Mr. Lin’s practice covers a wide variety of industries including banking, energy, telecommunications, commercial retail, infrastructure and traditional manufacturing. 

Xudong Tao

Mr. Tao joined JunHe in 2001 and is based at JunHe Shanghai Office. He is a “Leading Lawyer” by IFLR since 2011 and by Asialaw since 2012.

Mr. Tao has over 25 years of practicing laws in the PRC, with experience of working as in-house and outside counsels, and in local and international firms. He specializes in both domestic and cross-border transactions, including advising company restructuring, early-stage and pre-IPO financing, IPO by Chinese companies in PRC and Hong Kong, Singapore, NYSE and NASDAQ, takeover and take-private of PRC, Hong Kong and NASDAQ-listed companies, mergers and acquisitions involving domestic and overseas listed companies, etc. Mr. Tao is also the leading partner of a number of recent foreign strategic investment in A-share companies in 2018.

Tiejun Shi

Mr. Shi is a senior partner of JunHe LLP and the head of JunHe’s capital market practice. He is a former member of the CSRC’s Securities Issuance Examination Commission for ChiNext Board (2009-2011).

Mr. Shi started practising law at JunHe since 1993. His focus is on various types of company restructuring, mergers and acquisitions involving listed and non-listed companies, and private equity investments, in both domestic and overseas markets. He advised more than 100 of initial public offering deals in the capital market of PRC, Hong Kong, NYSE and NASDAQ, and over 100 acquisitions and reorganizations of companies listed in PRC and overseas market.

Tao Zhang

Mr. Zhang joined JunHe in 1999 and is a senior partner of JunHe’s capital market practice. He is a former member of CSRC’s Securities Issuance Examination Commission for ChiNext Board (2013- 2017).

Mr. Zhang has 20 years of experience in advising capital market-related deals, including IPO-oriented company restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, equity financing and debt financing by Chinese companies in both domestic and overseas capital markets, and post-listing compliance matters. With 5 years working as a member of CSRC’s Securities Issuance Examination Commission, Mr. Zhang has in-depth knowledge of CSRC’s policies and extensive experience of dealing different types of companies in IPO and follow-on offering projects.
