Ms. Nitu Agarwal, based out of Kolkata and Delhi, is currently the Zonal Legal Head – East and North India of the Corporate Legal Group, ICICI Bank Limited. Having begun her legal career at a Kolkata based law firm, - P.D. Himatsingka & Co., she joined ICICI Limited (as it was known then) in February, 2001. Since then she has been based out of Kolkata primarily and currently oversees the legal functions pertaining to North and East India. Ms. Agarwal has an experience of 18 years in handling and overseeing a wide range of banking and finance transactional engagements, both under domestic and international jurisdictions, including transactions under several South East Asian jurisdictions and cross border transactions, as well as having a diverse experience in litigation strategy and management. She has advised, overseen and strategized a wide variety of high profile litigations in the banking sector (including proceedings under the Code) and has constantly driven her teams towards being key contributors in development of legal jurisprudence and legal policies through pursuing matters with key judicial pronouncements and providing inputs for discussions with regulators and governmental bodies.

Mrinal Chandran is currently the Senior Director & General Counsel at India Resurgence Fund – a joint venture between Bain Capital Credit and Piramal Enterprises. He has over 15 years experience in deal analysis, structuring, deal execution, restructurings, asset management and fund raising.

He was part of the founding team and a Managing Director at Altico Capital – a joint venture between Clearwater Capital, Abu Dhabi Investment Council and Varde Partners – with investments in excess of $1bn in asset backed high yield credit.

Mohit Saraf

Mohit Saraf heads the corporate practices at L&L Partners, particularly the Mergers & Acquisitions and IBC related practice. With over 25 years of experience across sectors & industries, he has advised major global and Indian companies.

He has been recently appointed on the National Executive Committee of FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry), a non-government, not-for-profit organization, which is the voice of India's business and industry.

Mr. Saraf has also been appointed as Co-Chair of the FICCI Committee on Corporate Laws and the Committee on Stressed Assets.

Jigar Shah

Jigar joined KKR in 2018 and heads the Legal and Compliance function for KKR India, working across all the KKR activities in India including its corporate and real estate lending arms, private equity, special situation and infrastructure platforms.

Prior to joining KKR, Jigar was the head of Legal at JPMorgan India during 2013-18, responsible for all transactional and non-transactional legal support, and a member of JPMorgan’s India Country Location Management Committee, India Management Committee and APAC Legal Management Committee as well as its APAC Inclusive Leadership Council which set JPMorgan’s diversity and inclusion agenda in the region. Jigar previously worked at Deutsche Bank during 2002-13 in their London, Hong Kong and Mumbai offices (as Head of Corporate and Investment Bank Legal).

Prior to Deutsche Bank, Jigar was in private practice at various international law firms in London including Linklaters. Over the years, Jigar has built up a lot of experience in legal and regulatory compliant structuring solutions and delivered various forms of exits at each of KKR, DB and JPM; and led teams supporting the whole spectrum of Corporate and Investment Banking business lines across various asset classes, both flow and structured products
