Our lawyers have represented major global corporations and advised leading Brazilian economic players from several industries (energy, mining, oil and gas, telecom, infrastructure, real estate, chemical and private equity funds). Our team has many experienced members, including the a former member at the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).

We have substantial experience working with the antitrust and competition enforcement authorities in Brazil, and our practitioners are leaders in analyzing and applying antitrust law principles to numerous business practices in a wide variety of industries.

Our antitrust practice provides advice on the full range of issues, including: (i) merger review (including the coordination of multijurisdictional filings); (ii) non-merger investigations, particularly cartels and abuse of dominance, and related civil investigative demands; (iii) civil and criminal Economic Law litigation (dawn raids, damages, unilateral practices, Antitrust & Intellectual Property, disputes involving infrastructure projects, and bid rigging); (v) compliance and anti-corruption; (vi) consultation before CADE and the Secretariat of Economic Law of Ministry of Finance (SEAE/MF); and (vi) general advice to clients.
