Minton Morrill's team handles all housing and community care work. For housing this includes possession proceedings, unlawful evictions, harassment and disrepair. For community care this includes obtaining care assessments, challenges to assessments, advice during the Continuing Healthcare Funding, Disabled Facilities Grants and other Care Act 2014 cases.

The team's clients include both tenants and home-owners. Many of their clients are very vulnerable, having complex physical and/or mental health problems.

The team have had recent successes in cases where clients lack capacity and where, as a result, the team were representing the Official Solicitor. These clients have been able to remain in their homes and the team have obtained Care Act assessments on clients' behalf to ensure that clients' care and support needs are met. The team have obtained damages awards for housing disrepair cases where clients have been compensated for their losses and where, as a result, urgent repair works have been completed. The team have also obtained housing and care assessments for homeless clients.

Adam Leadill specialises in defending possession proceedings against disabled tenants and in housing disrepair cases.
