Overview

The Firm has a very wide experience in regulatory matters involving administrative proceedings before the National Agency for Waterway Transportation – ANTAQ, Special Secretariat of Ports, Brazilian Customs, Brazilian Maritime Authority and Admiralty Court. The Firm also handle works assisting clients in oil companies tender processes, including Petrobras´ tender. The assistance for vessels´ temporary importation to Brazil and their clearance before the Brazilian Authorities are important services provided by the Firm.

Shipowners from all over the world are the Firm´s biggest clients as well are the shipyards, port terminals, oil companies and related suppliers from the oil and gas sector.

The Firm is proud with its recent ship arrest first precedent awarded in a Domestic Arbitrage in Brazil and also proud with an inumerous decisions in maritime claims summing more than USD 100 million in dispute in favor of its clients.
