Locke Lord's strategic plan was to establish the preeminent commercial real estate practice in the Chicago market to complement our strength in this area in other markets. We’ve made huge strides in achieving this goal since November 2010 when four partners joined Locke Lord from the largest and most highly regarded real estate practice in Chicago. The Illinois practice now has six stellar partners, three associates and one each of counsel, senior counsel and staff counsel.
In the past seven years, we have developed an incredibly strong and rapidly growing commercial real estate practice in Chicago serving major national institutional clients. The practice is thriving and virtually all of the following clients are "new" to Locke Lord as they were brought over by the lateral group or have been developed as new clients since their arrival.
