Based in York and Lincoln, our services to farmers and landowners originate in the country’s agricultural heartland, giving us a strong understanding of many of the challenges faced by the industry.

We recognise the complex relationship between our clients’ business and personal matters and advise them on a range of legal issues, from property (be it selling or buying land, agricultural tenancies, promotion agreements and options for development or land disputes), ownership structures (for instance companies or farming partnerships), contracts (such as contracts with suppliers or distributors or employment contracts), wills and succession planning and inheritance tax advice, renewables (both the commercial aspects and the property aspects) to mines and minerals (where we have experience of acting for owners of minerals and mining operators). We also help to resolve disputes and offer a mediation service which focuses on farming family disputes.
