Overview

Kirkland’s capital markets group has one of the largest high yield practices in Europe. The team primarily focuses on cross-border offerings of high-yield bonds and liability management and restructuring transactions involving high yield bonds. Our London-based team is considered the go-to issuer-side shop for the most complex high yield transactions in Europe, representing a broad range of financial sponsors and being uniquely positioned because of its large volume to guide issuers through the offering process, easing the burden on management/sponsors. Our team closely coordinates with our U.S. offices to bring new issuer-favourable U.S. high yield terms into the European market as they emerge. Our team also assists clients in other capital markets areas such as initial public offerings and block trades.
