DMH Stallard offers a complete service across every aspect of restructuring and insolvency, both contentious and transactional. We act predominantly for insolvency practitioners on both contentious (the majority of work) and non-contentious cases across both corporate and personal insolvency.

The team works closely with clients to address and resolve issues arising from a business in financial distress, including formal insolvency, restructuring and dispute resolution. Working with insolvency practitioners, businesses, lenders, debtors and creditors, we can advise on all aspects of insolvency, including legal disputes, security enforcement, asset realisations, and business sales.

As necessary, we are able to call on the support of our award-winning corporate and commercial group; by the same token, we provide support to these and other key practice areas, such as Real Estate, Dispute Resolution, Employment and Private Client, whenever there is a distressed or insolvency component in their instructions.

We also work with individuals affected by a business’ financial distress, addressing issues around director disqualification, misfeasance, and bankruptcy.

We also advise lenders and creditors on director defence and disqualification, and issue bankruptcy or winding-up petitions.
