Our Infrastructure and Project Finance group includes a market leading team of lawyers with extensive experience and expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects in Brazil in various industries, including traditional and renewable energy, oil and gas, maritime and transports (metro, tramway, highways, ports and airports) and all relevant cross-disciplinary legal areas. We offer clients a dedicated and resourceful team with the right balance of legal and regulatory skills, industry knowledge and in-depth understanding of the issues affecting all participants across the sectors, allowing us to provide the best advice for each project.

We have significant experience in representing both borrowers and lenders (including development banks, multilateral financial institutions and export credit agencies) in connection with the structuring and financing of greenfield and brownfield projects, in all types of project finance structures including both long term and short term debt, in the bank and bond markets, as well as in complex multi-sourced financings and intercreditor structures. Due to the breadth and strength of the firm’s practice in all branches of Infrastructure, we also offer comprehensive legal advice in specific regulatory rules and requirements applicable across the various industries, with a team of experience lawyers and high degree of familiarity on interaction and coordination with governmental entities, agencies and regulators for each sector.
