De Pardieu’s litigators represent clients at all stages of the dispute resolution process, including of course at the oral arguments stage, the firms’ litigators appearing regularly before French civil, criminal and administrative courts, as well as in front of European jurisdictions.

The expertise of our litigation partners in disciplinary, investigatory or enforcement proceedings initiated by French administrative authorities having jurisdictional or quasi-jurisdictional powers, such as the AMF (the French SEC) or the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (the French Banking and Insurance Commission), was key to the building of the firm’s reputation outside its historical banking and corporate field.

One of our partners, Philippe Dubois, acts as arbitrator in French or international arbitration proceedings. Barbara Levy acts as mediator.

The litigation team also assists the corporate department to conduct litigation-focused due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions (identify and review a target’s pending litigation and assets the reliability of its internal dispute identification and risk evaluation processes).
