Specifically, it is our expertise and contacts within the field of brain injury which sets us apart from other firms. In fact, we have seen an increase in the number of recommendations from medical professionals in the two Major Trauma Centres covering the region, and the regional Trauma Networks, as they believed we were best placed to handle these serious and complex claims over and above the other firms.
We are known for our focus on the rehabilitation of our clients. We seek to obtain interim payments to ensure that a full rehabilitation programme is in place as soon as possible to speed up their recovery.
In addition to pursuing appropriate settlements, we are also known for our collaboration with medical professionals, case managers and insurers to ensure the best possible outcome for clients. We are founding signatories to the Serious Injury Guide – an agreement between forward thinking lawyers, aimed at achieving collaboration between claimant and defendant representatives for the benefit of clients. As well as external professionals, we also work closely with our in-house court of protection team to provide a seamless, holistic service to clients.
The team are very active in both the national UKABIF organisation and Headway, the brain injury association. We are also actively involved in a number of local charities supporting people with acquired brain injuries.
