Members have been involved in some of the more high-profile proceedings in recent years, including those arising from criminal convictions.

Catherine Cundy
Impresses in professional discipline cases in the healthcare profession, drawing on her previous role as in-house counsel at the GMC. She regularly prosecutes on behalf of the GMC in fitness to practise cases concerning dishonesty and clinical and sexual misconduct.
Strengths: "An excellent lawyer who had a good grasp of the case."
Recent work: Prosecuted a doctor whose failure to correctly interpret a CTG trace resulted in the still birth of a baby. The doctor was proven to have altered medical records to suggest that he had requested a review. He was struck off the medical register.

Nigel Grundy
Particularly impresses in healthcare-related professional discipline matters, regularly handling GMC fitness to practise hearings and receiving regular instruction from the Ambulance Service and several NHS trusts.
