Belinda focuses particularly on international arbitration and state/investor disputes. She has conducted a wide variety of high value and complex arbitration cases, under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration, the International Chamber of Commerce, UNCITRAL, International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), RADR, as well as ad hoc multi-party arbitrations.

She has handled cases in the energy, hotel, banking and telecommunications sectors, and has acted in many shareholder and other commercial disputes.

Her experience includes disputes over the transfer of subsoil licenses, the interpretation of provisions in production sharing agreements, the effect and enforceability of stabilisation provisions, and breaches of other commercial agreements. She has acted in disputes arising out of Bilateral Investment Treaties and the Energy Charter Treaty before ICSID, dealing with such issues as unlawful expropriation, unfair and inequitable treatment and denial of justice.
